Sage Alerting Systems, Inc., will continue its legacy of innovation and excellence in the Emergency Alert System development and implementation. The original Sage ENDEC led the way in ease of use, reliability and functionality and meaningful features that allow broadcasters, cable operators and public safety agencies to get alerts out to the public in a rapid and predictable manner. Our mission is to bring our years of experience to the new CAP compliant FCC EAS requirements through the Sage Digital ENDEC.
Management Team
Mr. LeBow has been involved with the broadcast and technology industries for more than thirty-five years. Most recently, he co-founded and served as CTO of Core BTS, a consolidation of systems integrators. Prior he served as co-chairman of Vytek Wireless Corporation which was merged with California Amplifier (NASDAQ: CAMP) in April 2004. Mr. LeBow is one of the founders of Sage Broadcasting Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed company that owned and operated 22 radio stations across the country. Prior to founding Sage, Mr. LeBow was a consultant to the Bosch Corporation in Hildesheim, Germany, and helped develop wireless alerting and warning technology for NATO. Mr. LeBow co-founded and was president of Sage Alerting Systems Inc, which merged into AmeriData Technologies, Inc., a $2+ billion New York Stock Exchange-listed reseller and integrator of computer equipment. Ameridata was acquired by General Electric Capital Corporation in 1996. Mr. LeBow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Rhode Island. Mr. LeBow holds numerous Federal Communications Commission licenses, is a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, the FCC EAS task force and has held amateur radio license K2SMC since 1955. Mr. LeBow serves on the board of and Barrett Xplore, a wireless broadband provider in Canada.
Mr. Price is a 30-year veteran in the computer and communications
industries. In addition to leading the development team for both the
original Sage ENDEC and the new Sage Digital ENDEC, he also wrote software
for the original EAS FCC trials in 1994. He has also provided systems for
use with the national levels of EAS. In 1999, he developed one of the first
streaming audio delivery systems that included direct interface to radio
station automation systems to deliver in-stream ad insertions. More
recently, he led the development of a portable WiFi-based music
player. Mr. Price has been CTO in several technology company startups, and
is a patent holder. As one of the founders of VyTek LLC, his team
developed, under contact to NASA, the first demonstration of the use of a
Web server onboard a low earth orbit satellite to directly generate
telemetry and send it to the ground using TCP/IP. Mr. Price has a BS
degree in Computer Science, and holds amateur radio license NK6K.
